  • Sub Inspector: Bachelor’s degree (2 years) in Second Class or Grade C, or a post-intermediate Associate Degree, or a 4-year BS degree, from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Assistant Sub Inspector: BA or BSc in Second Class or Grade C, or a post-intermediate Associate Degree, from an HEC-recognized university.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the National Police Foundation Testing and Assessment Service (NPF-TAS) recruitment portal at npftas.pk or the Islamabad Police website at islamabadpolice.gov.pk, and find the Executive Staff 2026 (Dolphin Force) advertisement.
  2. Read the eligibility, quota and physical standards carefully and select the post and domicile quota you are applying against. You may choose up to two test centres in order of priority; the final centre allotment rests with ICT Police.
  3. Fill in the online application form with correct personal, education and domicile details, and keep an active mobile number that has not been moved to another network.
  4. Submit the form and generate the fee challan with its 24-digit PSID, then pay Rs. 2,000 for each post through 1Link / 1Bill — via a bank, ATM, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or another listed channel. The fee is non-refundable, and candidates applying for more than one post must pay separately for each post (the physical test is taken only once).
  5. Submit your application before 15 November 2026. Applications sent by hand, courier or post will not be entertained — online applications only.
  6. Keep your application record and payment proof safe for the test and interview stages, and bring the original documents listed in the advertisement to the interview: CNIC, academic certificates, domicile certificate and two passport-size photographs with a blue background. Minority quota candidates also need an affidavit countersigned by the Deputy Commissioner concerned.
  7. For queries, contact the NPF-TAS helpline on 051-8466800 or email info@npftas.pk.

Terms & Conditions

  • Selection is in stages, and failure at any stage disqualifies a candidate from the next: physical measurement and endurance test, then a written or computer-based test, then an interview, followed by document and character verification and a detailed medical examination (including Hepatitis B and C tests).
  • No TA/DA will be paid for tests or interviews.
  • Only candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility, age and physical standards should apply; read the full official advertisement before applying or paying any fee.
  • ICT Police reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any stage, and its decision is final.
  • Candidates claiming a family relation with a serving, retired or deceased police employee must provide complete documentation (family registration certificate, pension book and retirement order) at the interview.
  • Never pay anyone who claims they can secure your selection — apply only through the official portal, and confirm the details on islamabadpolice.gov.pk or npftas.pk before paying the fee.

Conclusion

With 790 posts and 750 of them at Constable level for Matric-pass candidates, this is one of the largest police recruitments in Islamabad this year — and with separate standards for women and quotas for every province and region, it is genuinely open across Pakistan. The catch is the short window: applications close on 15 November 2026, and the Rs. 2,000 fee must be paid before then. If you meet the height, vision and run standards, get your online form in early through npftas.pk and keep your fee receipt and documents ready for the physical test. Always confirm the final details from the official advertisement before applying.
